Radon is the second leading cause for lung cancer today following cigarettes as the number one for lung cancer. Radon comes from the break down of uranium/radium in the soils, which enters the home/building and is breathed into our lungs. The decay products from Radon cause damage to our lungs through alpha rays, which are emitted as radon breaks down through natural process.
Upon testing for Radon, the results will be provided to you. Should the levels of Radon be at or above the acceptable levels, which the EPA/NEHA have established to be 4.0 pCi/l for corrective action, an appointment can be made in order to provide you with the best options for mitigating the Radon from your home or building.
